Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac could reportedly head back to the Bundesliga this summer due to family reasons.
The Bosnian joined the Gunners on a free transfer from Schalke 04 in the summer of 2017 under much fanfare.
However, he has since failed to nail down a regular starting role and is currently out-of-favour under first-team manager Mikel Arteta.
Kieran Tierney, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Bukayo Saka are all ahead of him in the pecking order for the left wing-back position and Sport Bild claims that he could return to the Bundesliga due to personal reasons.
The 27-year-old made a reputation for himself with Schalke and he has now been offered the chance to return to the German top-flight with Bayer Leverkusen interested in his services.
Leverkusen have yet to finalise a transfer fee with the Gunners, but reports claim that the north London side are hopeful of pocketing around £9m from the sale of Kolasinac.
Kolasinac is one of the highest earners at Arsenal at around £140,000-a-week and his departure should free up additional funds to meet the salary demands of another summer signing.
