Arsenal could face competition from Leeds United in their attempt to sign Patrick van Aanholt this summer.
Van Aanholt was touted to join the Gunners from Crystal Palace for a nominal fee in January, but a deal failed to materialise.
The Dutchman’s current contract with the Eagles expires in June and as things stand, he is likely to leave them on a free transfer.
According to The Mail, Leeds have entered the pursuit of the left-back as they aim to land a replacement for Ezgjan Alioski.
Alioski’s contract expires in the summer as well and he is reportedly keen on joining Galatasaray on a Bosman deal.
The Whites could be prepared to offer Van Aanholt with a regular starting role with Stuart Dallas playing higher up the field.
The Gunners, however, want him as a potential back-up behind Kieran Tierney and it remains to be seen whether they can convince him.
Van Aanholt has made more than 125 appearances for Palace to date.
