Arsenal are reportedly leading the race to sign Real Betis attacker Nabil Fekir.
The Frenchman joined the La Liga outfit from Lyon in 2019 and he has since registered 10 goals and 13 assists from 63 appearances.
He is likely to push for a bigger challenge this summer and TMW claims that the north London will be the front-runners to land his signature.
The Gunners have held a long-term interest in the versatile playmaker and they were initially interested in signing him more than five years ago.
Fekir has a release clause worth €90m in his Betis contract, but the Spanish outfit may have to accept a significantly lower fee to do business.
Meanwhile, the Gunners are looking at the prospect of extending Martin Odegaard‘s loan stay beyond the current campaign.
Negotiations are planned with Real Madrid and it remains to be seen whether they will pursue both the Norwegian and Fekir this summer.
Fekir was previously on the cusp of signing for Liverpool in 2018, but the deal was cancelled after some concerns over his medical.
