Arsenal are reportedly regarded as favourites to land the signature of Christian Eriksen from Inter Milan next month.
The Denmark international left Tottenham Hotspur for Inter last winter, but he has since struggled to adapt to the style of play.
He has bagged just four goals and three assists from 38 appearances and the majority of those have come from the substitutes’ bench.
Inter chief Giuseppe Marotta recently confirmed that Eriksen is free to leave the club in January and the Gunners are now deemed favourites to land him.
The north London giants have endured a dismal campaign in the Premier League and they have picked up just 14 points from as many games.
Their main concern has been the limited creativity and Eriksen has emerged as their top target to address the issue next month.
Mikel Arteta‘s side have netted only 12 goals in the league this term. That constitutes the third-worst scoring record in the top-flight.
