Arsenal will attempt to sign Julian Brandt on a cut-price deal from Borussia Dortmund this summer.
The Gunners are expected to sign an attacking midfielder with Martin Odegaard set to return to Real Madrid after his loan stint.
According to Bild, the Gunners have been keeping tabs on Brandt, who has fallen out-of-favour with Dortmund this term.
The playmaker has made only 16 league starts, and it is claimed that Dortmund would be prepared to offload him.
BVB wanted around £25m for Brandt in January, but they could now sanction his departure for a reduced £17.5m fee.
Aside from Brandt, the Gunners also have their sights on Emiliano Buendia, who recently secured top-flight promotion with Norwich City.
Buendia has bagged a stunning tally of 14 goals and 17 assists this term, and he won’t come on the cheap this summer.
