Arsenal have reportedly revived their interest in signing RB Leipzig midfielder Christopher Nkunku ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Frenchman was heavily linked with the Gunners in the summer of 2019, but he chose to join Leipzig on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain.
He has since impressed with the Bundesliga side with 12 goals and 24 assists in 75 appearances and the Gunners are now planning a fresh move for him.
According to The Mirror, Nkunku is one of the targets for manager Mikel Arteta, who is planning a squad rebuild ahead of next season.
Nkunku started his career as a central midfielder, but at Leipzig, he has excelled playing on the wings or in the number 10 role.
He is unlikely to come on the cheap for the Gunners, and Leipzig could demand as much as £40m to part ways with the 23-year-old.
Nkunku has yet to make his senior debut for France. He could make his breakthrough following the European Championships this summer.
