Arsenal have identified Valencia forward Maxi Gomez as a potential candidate to bolster their attack during the January transfer window.
The Gunners have experienced a disappointing 2020/21 campaign and they have registered just 14 points from as many matches.
That sees them languishing in the 15th position on the table and their goalscoring has been the main concern with just 12 goals to date.
According to The Mirror, the north London giants will be aiming to strengthen their attack next month and have their sights on Gomez.
The Uruguayan has netted four goals for a struggling Valencia outfit this term and reports claim he could be available on a cut-price deal.
He currently has a release clause worth £125m on his contract, but could be available on the cheap amid Los Che’s financial concerns.
Any new winter signings made by the Gunners could coincide with departures. Alexandre Lacazette could be one of those heading for the exit door.
