Barcelona will make their move to sign midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum from Liverpool when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year.
The Dutchman was heavily linked with a move to the Camp Nou this summer, but a deal failed to materialise before the La Liga transfer deadline.
Ronald Koeman recently acknowledged that Wijnaldum was on his radar and Mundo Deportivo claims that the Blaugrana will look to sign him in January.
The Netherlands international has only eight months remaining on his Reds contract and he has yet to agree on a suitable extension.
He will be free to sign a pre-contract with an overseas club in January, but it is claimed that the Blaugrana are keen on recruiting him at the earliest possibility.
Aside from Wijnaldum, compatriot Memphis Depay has also been tipped to make the move to the Camp Nou after his failed summer move.
Depay was fancied to join the Catalan giants before the deadline, but the deal fell through after the club failed to free up funds through player sales.
