Barcelona could revive their interest in Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, Fabrizio Romano claims.
The Frenchman endured a tough debut season with Spurs hampered by injuries and he made only 21 appearances in the league.
Hence, he was linked with a possible exit earlier this summer, but there were not any suitable offers for his services.
According to Romano, the Blaugrana are still keen on landing Ndombele, who has got over his injury troubles this term.
He added that Spurs are unlikely to consider any mid-season bids and the Blaugrana may have to wait until next summer to sign him.
The Dutchman’s current deal expires at the end of the season and he would be free to sign a pre-contract at the turn of the year.
Wijnaldum has recently said that he could sign a new deal with the Reds, but the club have yet to meet his salary demands.
