Chelsea are contemplating whether to make an approach for Jadon Sancho during the summer transfer window.
The Borussia Dortmund attacker was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United last summer, but they failed to meet the £110m price tag.
According to SportBILD, Dortmund are likely to consider the sale of Sancho this summer when he enters the final two years of his contract.
The club are experiencing financial difficulties amid the coronavirus pandemic and they are prepared to lower Sancho’s asking price to around £88m.
United are likely to retain their interest in the player, but reports claim that the Blues have also been alerted by the situation.
However, it appears that new manager Thomas Tuchel wants to make his own signings and Sancho could be one of the targets.
Chelsea are currently sixth on the league table with 36 points, four adrift of the top four places.
