England international Jesse Lingard could part ways with Manchester United when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year.
The 27-year-old has fallen out-of-favour since the arrival of Bruno Fernandes earlier this year and he has made just two EFL Cup appearances this term.
According to ESPN, the attacker is desperate for regular gametime and that could see him head for the exit door in January.
Lingard had hired super-agent Mino Raiola earlier this summer with the view to pursuing a big-money move elsewhere.
However, nothing materialised and he has now parted company with the Italian and will be represented by his family members.
Lingard’s current deal expires at the end of the campaign, but United have the option of extending his deal for another 12 months.
They are likely to trigger the clause in the coming weeks such that they can preserve his transfer value for next year.
Lingard has bagged 30 goals and 20 assists from 209 games for United.
