Liverpool and Arsenal will have to pay around £40m to land the signature of Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Yves Bissouma.
Bissouma has spent three seasons with the Seagulls, but he has recently revealed his desire to pursue a bigger challenge.
With two years remaining on his contract, the club are open to sanctioning his sale, but they are looking for the right offer.
According to The Sun, the Reds and Gunners are long-term admirers of the midfielder, who represents Mali at the international level.
It is added that the 24-year-old won’t come on the cheap, and the Seagulls are likely to demand as much as £40m for his services.
Manchester City have also been linked with the former Lille man, and they could have the financial edge over their rivals.
A move from the Cityzens may depend on the future of Fernandinho, whose contract with the club expires at the end of June.
Bissouma has turned out 94 times for Brighton in all competitions.
