Liverpool and Bayern Munich could be among the leading contenders to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund next summer.
Manchester United were heavily tipped to sign the England international this summer, but a deal failed to materialise after Dortmund refused to lower their £108m price tag.
According to the Independent, United have not ended their pursuit of Sancho and they could return with a fresh offer for him in 12 months’ time.
However, they may struggle to convince the forward to join them as both Liverpool and Bayern could join the race to sign him by then.
Sancho is said to be impressed with the work of Jurgen Klopp at Anfield and it is suggested that he would be tempted to join the Reds over United.
Elsewhere, Bayern are also an attractive option with a number of ex-Dortmund players including Robert Lewandowski succeeding at the club.
Sancho is currently with England on international duty. They will play a friendly against Wales tomorrow at the Wembley Stadium.
