Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said that club-captain Jordan Henderson could be available for tomorrow’s Premier League clash at Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Reds have been hampered by injuries right from the start of the season and they are currently without Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Thiago Alcantara.
Henderson has also been sidelined in recent games with a muscle injury, but Klopp is hopeful that the midfielder can pass the late fitness test to face the Seagulls.
« Hendo trained yesterday, parts of team training and then had his individual session, so we have to see what we do with that, » Klopp was quoted as saying by the club’s official website.
The Premier League champions are expected to be without three of their regular defenders in Van Dijk, Gomez and Alexander-Arnold, but they have no such concerns in the attack.
