Liverpool are reportedly considering a move for former Arsenal graduate Donyell Malen ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Reds have experienced a disappointing campaign in the Premier League and they are currently five points adrift of the top four.
They could miss out on Champions League football next term, but that is unlikely to hamper their transfer business.
According to The Mail, the Reds have their sights on signing Malen, who was previously in the youth ranks of the Gunners.
The Dutchman made the permanent switch to PSV Eindhoven more than three years where he has established himself with 51 goals.
He has netted 23 goals across all competitions this term and the Reds are reportedly favourites to sign him ahead of AC Milan.
Malen still won’t come on the cheap for the Merseyside giants and PSV are expected to demand around £48m for his services.
