Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has reportedly made his mind up to join Barcelona when his contract expires in the summer.
The Dutchman has been in contract talks with the Reds over the past six months, but they have failed to meet his demands.
According to Todofichajes, the Reds have failed to convince the midfielder to prolong his stay and he has now decided to pursue a fresh challenge.
Wijnaldum is obviously prepared to honour the final six months of his contract before making the switch to the Blaugrana on a free transfer.
The 30-year-old has a good relationship with Blaugrana boss Ronald Koeman, who previously managed him with the Netherlands.
Aside from Wijnaldum, the Catalan giants also have their sights on landing Memphis Depay when his deal with Lyon expires on June 30.
The former Manchester United forward came close to joining the club during last summer’s transfer window before financial constraints pulled the plug on the proposed move.
