Manchester United and Chelsea have received a potential boost with Real Madrid considering the summer sale of Raphael Varane.
Varane has made nearly 350 appearances for Los Blancos over the past decade, but his future with the club is still certain.
His current deal expires at the end of next season and so far, the club have been unable to convince him to sign a new contract.
According to Marca, Los Blancos are prepared to sanction his departure, suppose he continues with his contract standoff.
It is added that the Red Devils and Blues are interested in the central defender alongside French champions Paris Saint-Germain.
Los Blancos are likely to demand around £44m for the Frenchman, who was part of the 2018 World Cup-winning squad.
Meanwhile, there are suggestions that Los Blancos could offer Varane as a makeweight to sign Kylian Mbappe from Les Parisiens this summer.
Varane recently saved Los Blancos’ blushes as he scored two second-half goals in the 2-1 comeback win at Huesca.
