Manchester United are reportedly close to landing the signature of Alex Telles from Porto this summer.
The Brazil international had a fantastic 2019/2020 season with the Primeira Liga outfit, where he registered 13 goals and 12 assists from the left-back position.
Telles is now expected to be on the move after turning down a new contract beyond June 2021, and A Bola claims that the Red Devils are ahead of Wolverhampton Wanderers in the race to sign him.
The player currently has a release clause of £37m on his contract, but reports claim that Porto could be prepared to sanction his sale for a lesser fee of around £28m.
Telles’ agent is reported to have already held talks with the Red Devils in Manchester and it remains to be seen whether the transfer can be finalised in the near future.
