Manchester United could make an attempt to sign Andre Silva from Eintracht Frankfurt during the summer transfer window.
Silva has been a revelation since his move to Frankfurt from AC Milan and he has bagged 18 goals in the Bundesliga this season.
According to The Sun, the Red Devils will be offered the services of Silva this summer with Frankfurt prepared to sanction his exit.
The club are currently assessing the future of Edinson Cavani and they have yet to decide whether to extend his contract beyond June.
Should he leave the club, it is claimed that they could be interested in Silva, who is the second highest scorer in Europe’s top-five leagues this term.
Silva’s form has also caught the eye of Spanish giants Atletico Madrid and it is claimed that he could be available for around £30m.
The Red Devils have depended on Anthony Martial and Cavani to lead the line but the former has been unimpressive lately.
Cavani has fared better with three goals in the last six league games but the 34-year-old has recently developed the tendency to suffer niggles.
