Manchester United are reportedly leading the race to sign Nikola Milenkovic from Fiorentina this summer.
The Serbian was heavily linked with the Red Devils when Jose Mourinho was the manager few years ago.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the centre-back is likely to be on the move after turning down a new contract.
His current deal expires in less than 16 months’ time and it is reported that La Viola are likely to sell him this summer.
Milenkovic was valued at around £50m in 2018, but the Serie A side are willing to accept a reduced fee of £30m this summer.
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has earmarked the signing of a central defender as a priority, but he prefers a left-footed option.
Still, he could be tempted by the prospect of landing Milenkovic, who has been on the radar of United scouts for several years.
