Manchester United are reportedly leading Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool in the race to sign Nikola Milenkovic from Fiorentina.
Milenkovic has been with La Viola since 2017 but has been fancied to head for the exit door with his contract expiring in 17 months’ time.
United had monitored Milenkovic closely when Jose Mourinho was their head coach back in 2018 and Sky Italy claims that they are still interested.
It is added that the club are leading the race to sign the central defender, who has a strong presence in the air with his height of 1.95m.
The Serbian has been a consistent performer for La Viola despite their struggles this term and he has managed three tackles/interceptions per game.
He was valued at £50m three years ago but reports claim that La Viola would be willing to accept 50 percent of that figure this summer.
