Manchester United could reportedly consider a move for Bournemouth winger David Brooks, if they miss out on signing Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.
Sancho has been heavily tipped with the Red Devils over the past few months, but they have been unable to negotiate a suitable deal with Dortmund.
The German outfit are adamant that they won’t sell the attacker for anything less than £108m and United are reluctant to meet the valuation at the moment.
According to Manchester Evening News, they are now looking into alternative options to the Englishman and Brooks is one of the top players on their radar.
Brooks impressed during his debut Premier League campaign with the Cherries with seven goals and five assists across all competitions.
However, he scored just one goal from nine outings last term as he missed the majority of the campaign with a serious ankle injury.
He is still highly rated by the Red Devils and believe could be available for a reasonable price with the Cherries’ relegation from the top-flight.
