Manchester United have reportedly made contact with Inter Milan regarding the potential purchase of Ivan Perisic.
The Red Devils have been widely fancied to sign Jadon Sancho this summer, but they have failed to negotiate a deal with Borussia Dortmund.
Dortmund have set an asking price of £110m for the Englishman, but United are refusing to meet the valuation, as things stand.
According to Fussballtransfers, the club are on the search for alternatives and they have made contact with the Nerazzurri for Perisic.
Perisic has been a long-term target for the Red Devils and he was the subject of a failed approach when Jose Mourinho was the manager in 2018.
He had an impressive season on loan with Bayern Munich last term where he registered eight goals and 10 assists across all competitions.
Bayern tried to sign him permanently, but pulled the plug on the deal after they were made known of the £13.5m asking price for the 31-year-old.
