Manchester United are reportedly in talks over a potential loan deal for Real Madrid forward Luka Jovic.
The Red Devils are looking to strengthen their attack before next week’s transfer deadline and they have been linked with numerous names.
Obviously, Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho is the prime target, but a deal appears unlikely with United reluctant to meet the £108m price tag.
A recent report from Sport claimed that they have reached an agreement to sign Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona and it appears that they are also looking to sign a new striker.
According to Gianluca di Marzio, the club have made contact with the entourage of Jovic and they are likely to make a loan offer in the next couple of days.
Jovic has played second fiddle to Karim Benzema at the Bernabeu and he has struggled to make an impression. He managed only four league starts during the course of the previous season.
A move to Old Trafford could offer him the chance to secure regular gametime and potentially compete with Anthony Martial for the centre-forward position.
