Manchester United are reportedly considering a move for Lucas Ocampos from Sevilla following their failed pursuit of Jadon Sancho.
Sancho was tipped to join the Red Devils earlier this summer, but they have been unable to negotiate a suitable fee with Borussia Dortmund.
It was previously mentioned that Dortmund want around £108m for Sancho, but it is now clear that they won’t sanction his sale.
Hence, they are on the search for alternative options and ESPN claims that Ocampos has recently emerged as a suitable target.
Ocampos enjoyed a superb maiden campaign with Sevilla last term where he scored 17 goals and grabbed another six assists.
He featured in both wing positions for the La Liga outfit and impressed with his dribbling ability and tendency to take on shots.
The Argentine also has the physique to suit the Premier League and could be a quality addition to the United ranks before the deadline.
He is valued at around £36m by Sevilla.
