Manchester United are reportedly preparing an offer for Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic.
The Serbian has been with the Serie A outfit for nearly four seasons, but he could be on the move this summer.
According to Tuttosport, the 23-year-old has no plans of signing a new deal beyond June 2022 and La Viola will listen to offers this summer.
It is added that United are already in the process of lodging a bid for the centre-back, who has been on their radar for a few years.
Milenkovic was first linked with the Red Devils during the 2018/19 campaign when Jose Mourinho was the head coach.
La Viola are likely to demand around £30m for the defender, but he could be available for less with his current contract situation.
Aside from a centre-back, United are likely to pursue a new striker and a right winger when the transfer window reopens.
Prior to that, they are planning to offload a number of players in order to recoup funds for their summer spending.
