Manchester United have received a boost in signing Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho during the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils were heavily linked with his services last summer but ultimately, they refused to meet the £108m price tag.
United had highlighted the financial impact of COVID-19, but Dortmund were adamant that they would not negotiate on the fee.
According to BILD, Dortmund are prepared to consider Sancho’s departure this summer, if they receive an ‘exceptional offer’ on the table.
They are likely to reduce their asking price from last summer, and reports claim that he could be available for around £85m.
United are on the hunt for a right-sided winger, and it remains to be seen whether they will revive their pursuit of the Englishman.
Aside from Sancho, they have been heavily linked with Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele, who could be available for a lesser fee.
Dembele’s contract expires in less than 15 months and it is claimed that he could be signed for around £45m in the next transfer window.
