Barcelona could be prepared to sell Ousmane Dembele in January, should any club meet their reduced £45m price tag.
The Frenchman was linked with a loan move to Manchester United earlier this week, but a deal failed to go through.
The Blaugrana wanted Dembele to sign a one-year extension before he could leave on loan, but he declined to do so.
Hence, his temporary switch to Old Trafford fell through and it is now claimed that he could leave on a permanent basis in January.
The Catalan giants are wary of Dembele entering the final year of his contract next summer and they are prepared to offload him at the earliest.
Dembele was purchased from Borussia Dortmund for £96m in 2017, but the Blaugrana are willing to take a significant loss on him.
United could be tempted to make a permanent move for his services in January, provided he can prove his fitness over the coming months.
