Manchester United have been impressed with the recent form of Victor Lindelof and that could cool their interest in signing another centre-back.

Lindelof was previously the subject of criticism from some fans for his positioning, but he has shown a genuine improvement in that aspect.

According to Goal.com, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has second thoughts over signing another centre-back due to the promising form of Lindelof.

It is added that the Swede may continue to partner Maguire with Eric Bailly and Axel Tuanzebe acting as the back-up options.

United recently suffered their first defeat in 15 matches after they were eliminated by Leicester City at the quarter-final stage of the FA Cup.

It was also their first away loss after 22 matches. The club have now gone four seasons without picking up any domestic silverware.

Meanwhile, United must win the Europa League in May to ensure that they avoid going for a fourth campaign without winning any trophy.
