Manchester United could make a shock attempt to sign Callum Hudson-Odoi from Chelsea during the closing stages of the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils have been heavily linked with a move for Jadon Sancho this summer, but a deal has failed to materialised due to Borussia Dortmund’s hefty £108m price tag.
With less than two weeks remaining in the transfer window, the club are looking at potential alternatives and Manchester Evening News claims that Hudson-Odoi is one of the names under consideration.
Hudson-Odoi made only seven starts in the Premier League last term. His situation has not improved this campaign, considering he has managed just 10 minutes of league football from the opening two games.
Hence, he has been touted to secure a temporary move elsewhere, but United seem to have emerged as potential candidates to sign him on a permanent basis from the west London giants this summer.
Manchester United have experienced a rather frustrating transfer window to date and they have landed just one player in the form of Donny van de Beek from Ajax.
