Manchester United are expected to push for the services of Jadon Sancho when the transfer window reopens this summer.
The England international was their top target during the 2020 summer transfer window, but they failed to meet the £108m price tag.
He could be available for around £78m this summer, and the club are likely to make a stronger push to land his signature.
According to The Express, United will have additional funds to spend on Sancho following the contract renewal of Edinson Cavani.
Cavani’s stay means that United won’t be signing another striker until 2022, and they will use the funds to sanction a deal for Sancho.
Sancho has had an injury-plagued campaign for Dortmund, but has still managed 14 goals and 18 assists in all competitions.
He has been identified as a key player, who can turn the club into serious Premier League title contenders for the 2021/22 season.
Aside from a right winger, United could also sign a new central defender. They have been heavily linked with Villarreal’s Pau Torres.
