Mesut Ozil could reportedly part ways with Arsenal when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year.
The German has not featured for the Gunners since March and he was recently excluded from the 25-man Premier League squad.
Ozil has personally expressed his disappointment through his social media accounts and has vowed to stay put for the final year of his contract.
Despite this, there is still speculation regarding his future and The Star claims that he could head to Major League Soccer in January.
Furthermore, it is stated that DC United are keen on landing his services, but any deal may be dependent on the termination of his Gunners contract.
Ozil was recently handed a loyalty bonus of around £8m by the north London giants after entering the final year of his contract.
He has been a regular on the training ground, but has been unable to convince Mikel Arteta into picking him for the matchday squads.
