Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly in constant contact with Erling Haaland to convince him to join the Red Devils this summer.
The Norwegian joined Borussia Dortmund from Red Bull Salzburg in January last year, he has since registered 49 goals from as many as appearances.
His form has caught the eye of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City and Chelsea, but United are hopeful of luring him to Old Trafford.
Solskjaer previously managed the marksman when he was the head coach of Molde and the pair continue to remain in touch.
According to AS, Solskjaer ‘keeps calling’ the striker regularly in order to convince him to join the Red Devils.
Haaland’s contract has a £65m buy-out clause, but that will only become active at the end of the 2021/22 campaign.
Dortmund are likely to demand more than £100m to part ways with his services during the next transfer window.
Haaland has netted 33 goals from just 31 appearances for Dortmund this term.
