Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher is likely to be promoted to the first-team squad once his season-long loan with West Bromwich Albion concludes.
The 21-year-old has impressed with the Baggies this term and he has accumulated two goals and two assists from 23 top-flight outings.
According to Goal.com, the midfielder has made a good impression on Thomas Tuchel and he could be integrated into the first-team plans next term.
However, the Blues graduate will have to contend with a reduced role with the vast competition for places within the first-team squad.
N’Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho are currently the regular starters for the Blues, but the latter could return to the Serie A this summer.
The Blues have made a drastic improvement since Tuchel became manager in January and they are currently unbeaten in 15 matches.
