Leeds United winger Raphinha has expressed his satisfaction at the west Yorkshire outfit amid the speculation linking him with Liverpool and Manchester United.
The Brazilian made the switch to the Whites from Rennes last summer and he has hugely impressed for them with five goals and five assists from 21 league games.
His progress has been closely watched by United and Liverpool and there has been the talk that the Premier League giants could compete for his signature this summer.
Amidst this, the 24-year-old has said that he is ‘really happy’ playing for Marcelo Bielsa‘s side and added that he is well settled in the city and the club.
“I’m really happy and so satisfied to be a part of this club,” he told the club’s official website. “Today, I’m really well settled in the city and the club. I thank everybody for their affection. They contributed to this.”
Raphinha was purchased for around £17m last summer and it has been claimed that he could be available for around £40m when the transfer window reopens this summer.
However, it has also been reported that Leeds have no desire to part ways with the versatile winger. The Brazilian has more than three years remaining on his contract with the club.
