Real Madrid could make an attempt to sign Roberto Firmino from Liverpool during next summer’s transfer window.
The 13-time European champions did not make any major signings this summer and the financial impact of COVID-19 was highlighted as the main reason.
However, they have been widely touted to go on a spending spree at the end of the current campaign and Todofichajes claims that Firmino could be one of their top targets.
It is added that the Jurgen Klopp‘s side could be prepared to cash in on the player’s services, should they receive the right offer from the La Liga holders.
The Premier League champions limited their spending this summer, but they are likely to pursue a high-profile striker during the 2021 summer transfer window.
Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe, who is also on the radar of Real Madrid, has been identified as a possible target. His arrival could pave the way for Firmino’s departure to the Bernabeu.
