Inter Milan are prepared to make an approach for Chelsea defender Emerson during the forthcoming transfer window.
His current deal with the Blues expires in less than 15 months, and the club are likely to consider his departure in the near future.
According to Tuttosport, Inter boss Antonio Conte has identified Emerson as the prime target to strengthen the club’s defence further.
He was valued at around £25m last summer, but could be available for around £15m when the transfer window reopens.
AS Roma, Napoli and Juventus have also been credited with an interest in the Italy international, who has played 70 games for the Blues.
However, Inter are likely to have the advantage with Conte previously signing his compatriot for Chelsea in January 2018.
Emerson has previously spoken about the prospect of returning to the Serie A in order to boost his chances of playing time.
