Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has urged the club’s hierarchy to land the signature of Marco Verratti this summer.
The Italy international has made over 350 appearances for Paris Saint-Germain since he arrived from Pescara in 2012.
He has three years remaining on his contract, but 90min claims that he would be open to playing in the Premier League.
Manchester City and Manchester United are also interested in him, but Tuchel is hoping to reunite with the midfielder.
The Blues are assessing the future of Jorginho, and there are suggestions that the midfielder would prefer a return to the Serie A.
Napoli have been regularly linked with their former midfielder, but it is unclear whether they can afford to re-sign him.
Verratti is reportedly valued at around £70m, and the Blues will be hoping to recoup part of the funds from player sales.
Jorginho, who has also been linked with Juventus, is valued at £30m. He has just over two years remaining on his contract.
