Germany international Timo Werner has no plans of leaving Chelsea when the transfer window reopens in a few months.
The forward has had a tough debut season with the Blues, but he has still registered 10 goals and 10 assists across all competitions.
While his tally is impressive, he has been guilty of missing several clear-cut chances which has led to criticism from some fans.
A recent report claimed that the Blues may consider offering him as a makeweight to sign Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland this summer.
However, according to Goal.com, Werner is motivated to continue with the west London giants, and ensure that his time with the club is not a failure.
It added that the former Leipzig star won’t seek a return to the Bundesliga this summer, and he is prepared to fight for a starting spot.
Werner is contracted to the Blues until June 2025. He previously acknowledged that the physicality of the Premier League caught him by surprise.
